January 2022 News

Adding a quality marine stereo solution with a wireless Bluetooth® controller has never been easier than with the JBL-R3500 WAKE source unit and paired wireless JBL Click. Available from ProSpec Electronics, the combination of all-weather products are simple to install and use, and deliver audiophile-level sound at a highly competitive price.

The full-featured JBL-R3500 has a rotary encoder, illuminated push-button controls and a 4" LCD display that's easy to view, even in full sun. A built-in amplifier delivers 4x40 watts RMS @ 4 ohms with 4x55 peak @ 4 ohms that will power up to eight speakers. The IPX6-rated 6.4" L x 2.9" H faceplate can be flush- or back-mounted with only 4.25" of depth.

The JBL Click provides an easily mountable IPX5 controller to be used in tandem with the JBL-R3500. It's simple to pair the device to a smartphone and the smartphone to the JBL-R3500.

Highly adaptable, the adjustable silicone strap on the JBL Click allows the compact IPX5-rated device to mount virtually anywhere, including the steering wheel. Plus, it's easily removed to be used on a golf cart or bicycle, or in the car. A single turnable and clickable knob controls play/pause, next track, volume up/down functions on the mobile device and will accept, reject and hang up on a mobile call. The included CR2032 battery lasts up to 10 months.

Available from ProSpec Electronics, the JBL-R3500 WAKE source unit costs $269.95. The JBL Click wireless Bluetooth controller is $49.95.
