Quality DC Fans and Blowers For Efficient Engines

April 2021 News

Adequate air flow is crucial for optimal engine performance. Unlike repurposed ventilation equipment, Delta "T" Systems 12 and 24V DC axial fans and centrifugal blowers are engineered and built in the USA specifically for long service lives in a harsh marine environment.

All Delta "T" Systems fan and blower motors are ignition-protected for use with diesel and gasoline applications, and completely marinized. They're a direct-drive TEAO design (totally enclosed air over) and feature double shield ball bearings with diecast aluminum end plates, O-ring seals and stainless steel shafts. Armatures are dynamically balanced for quiet, vibration-free operation.

Available in 9", 11" and 16" sizes, Delta "T" Systems DC Axial Fans provide flow rates to 737, 1,424 and 1,810 cfm, respectively, with low electrical load requirements. They have integrated safety guards and reversible hub/blade assemblies. CE labeled, they conform to J1171, ISO 8846 and ISO 9097.

Slim and compact, Delta "T" Systems 3" and 4" DC Centrifugal Blowers deliver flow rates to 125 and 350 cfm, respectively. Ideal for OEM or refit, they have flange mounts that provide for easy installation. They're CE marked and conform to SAE J1171, ISO 8846, ISO 9097, EMC Directive 89/336/EEC and IP 68.

Delta "T" Systems offers a wide range of fan controls and accessories for its 12 and 24V DC axial fans and centrifugal blowers. The 600-DCT2 Control System automatically monitors and adjusts engine room ventilation. With dual temperature and low and high-speed settings, it's easy to have two configurations for different climates.

Installed on over 14,000 commercial, recreational and military vessels worldwide, Delta "T" Systems' products are known for their innovation and high quality. It engineers and manufactures complete marine machinery space ventilation systems for refit, custom build and OEM applications.
