Si-tex Updates NavPro MFD Series for 2021

March 2021 News

New versions of SI-TEX’s NavPro 900 and NavPro 1200 MFDs will now feature excellent chart detail and advanced navigation features on their high-resolution 9-inch and 12-inch LCD displays.

These affordable, yet powerful MFDs come bundled with free Navionics+ cartography that features advanced dock to-dock Autorouting for sailors, power cruisers and anglers, along with SonarCharts™ and SonarCharts™ Live for avid  anglers.

Adding optional Navionics Platinum+ cartography unlocks a range of additional features like 3D View, Panoramic  Photos, Satellite Image Overlay w/SonarChart™ Shading, Relief Shading and more. This cartography’s exclusive  Relief Shading provides an easy-to-interpret, clearer view of bottom structure including wrecks, ledges, rockpiles  and man-made reefs. This enhanced ability to find new fishing spots and more accurately position the boat is a game-changer for coastal and offshore fishing. Boaters will also be able to access the Platinum+ SonarChart™ detail— innovative 0.5m bathymetry charts created using proprietary data. In addition, these MFDs now enable  SonarChart™ Live—empowering anglers to create their own contour maps using live data collected by the NavPro’s CHIRP sonar.

The NavPro Series’ dock-to-dock Autorouting quickly and automatically suggests a safe and efficient route for  navigators to follow. This new feature will be welcomed by long-distance cruisers, island-hopping sailors or anybody  who wants to save fuel, navigate efficiently and optimize their time on the water.

The NavPro 900 and 1200 MFDs offer optional high-resolution WI-FI radar that makes it easy to install and rig           SI-TEX’s 4kW, 24-inch compact radome on just about any vessel. By mounting and wirelessly syncing the SI-TEX  MDS-12 Network Radome to a NavPro unit, boaters can turn these popular and affordable MFDs into powerful 36- nm range radars that deliver excellent target resolution and a range of features boaters expect from professional grade SI-TEX radars.

The ability to overlay detailed radar targets onto the rich Platinum+ electronic charts provides navigators with a  complete picture of what’s going on around them and enhanced safety in even the most challenging conditions. The NavPro Series 900F and 1200F models feature built-in 40kHz-210kHz CHIRP sonar with 300W, 600W or 1kW  power output for superior fish-finding performance over a range of conditions or angling situations.

NavPro MFDs utilize SI-TEX’s Hybrid Touch Control for versatile operation using either the touchscreen display or a  combination of hard keys, four-directional pad or rotary knob controls—making this MFD easy to operate and  understand.  In addition, the NavPro Series’ “Mirror Control” feature and companion app enable compatible mobile  devices to serve as remote displays or remote controls for operating the MFD. In addition, these units provide  automatic storage and synchronization of waypoints and important data using Captain Cloud.

The NavPro 900 starts at $999 MSRP; while the NavPro 1200 carries a starting MSRP of $2,199.  Both are backed by  SI-TEX’s 2-Year Warranty and U.S.-based customer service.
