New JBL by Harman Amplified Subwoofer Big on Sound

With the new JBL by Harman Marine BassPro 10" powered subwoofer from Prospec Electronics, it's easy to add quality, distortion-free low-end sound to any stereo system without complex installation. The innovative self-contained subwoofer delivers the power and accuracy needed when rocking-out on the water.

The BassPro has a massive maximum power rating of 750W peak and 250W RMS. It has a frequency response of 40Hz–120Hz and a signal-to-noise ratio of >75dB. A built-in 12dB electronic crossover provides adjustment from 50Hz to 120Hz. What this means to the end user is the big, dynamic sound JBL is known for.

Designed for extreme conditions, the high-performance BassPro is IPX5-rated. It has a sealed magnet and motor structure, a marinized circuit board and stainless steel hardware. Its one-piece polymer basket is UV-resistant and has rubber surrounds for long life. The clean white fascia fits with any marine décor.

Controls for the BassPro are conveniently located behind the removable center cap and include phase, gain, cross-over and bass boost. This provides the ability to dial-in the exact settings for the application and listening needs after it's been installed.

Because the BassPro is self-contained, installation is a snap. The subwoofer measures 14.17" L x 14.17" W x 12.91" H. It requires a 10.25" cutout and comes with pigtail leads for easy wiring. The JBL by Harman Marine MBP10 BassPro 10" powered subwoofer system costs $399.95 each.
