Fortress Marine Anchors launched a direct-to-consumer sales platform on its new website, which features a selection guide and informational videos.
“For 32 years, boaters everywhere have been purchasing our products through our retail partners,” Tara Farley, Fortress controller, said in a statement. “While that method of purchase is still available, we’re very excited about the increase in customer engagement, convenience and sales this new platform will deliver.”
Fortress anchors are known for the light weight because they’re made from an aluminum-magnesium alloy. They can also be disassembled for storage and offer two shank/fluke angles, 32 degrees for use in sand, mud or clay and 45 degrees for soft mud. Fortress offers a lifetime parts replacement warranty.
