An Interior Masterpiece
The interior of hull number one was specified by the new owner then developed in conjunction with Celeste Wegman Interiors. Comfort and style afoot is achieved with a mix of muted beige (Mersa Fresco Crème), Berber style carpet in the staterooms, and hard maple and American cherry seamed flooring throughout the interior; all designed, installed and finished by Burger craftsmen.
Here is where we take a quick moment to touch on the true craftsmanship of the Burger team in building this boat. It’s more of a mini-ship than a “boat.”
I have a seasoned background in automotive and marine manufacturing. On hull #1 and #2 (still under construction) I was in awe of the quality of metalwork, beautifully sculpted welds and wood joinery exhibited in this boat. The installation of the plumbing, electronics and wiring looks more like art than utilities.
