“I like the city,” said Dave Campbell. “It’s just big enough to have pretty much everything we need, yet it’s still small enough to have that small-town feel.”
Campbell is the supervisor of the Aerial Lift Bridge in Duluth, Minn., and has lived in the area for the past 30 years. He feels this particular city offers just the right amount of everything: “It’s not overwhelming like going down to Minneapolis or St. Paul. It’s kind of just the right size for me.”
Together with its adjacent town, Superior, Wis., Duluth helps shape one of the largest and busiest harbors in the United States. In addition, this harbor is cushioned by the world’s largest sand spit — Minnesota Point. Rich with history and natural wonders, Duluth offers an extensive list of things to do and see.
