For the past seven years, Boston Whaler has done the fundraiser “Boatload of Backpacks” to kick off the new school year. This annual school supply drive aims to help students start the new school year off right.
This year, with the employees contributing and the company matching the funds, Boston Whaler was able to fill more than 150 backpacks with school supplies to be delivered to three local elementary schools.
“Boatload of Backpacks is just one of many ways Boston Whaler supports our community,” said Nathan Abdalian, Whaler’s director of customer experience. “It was a pleasure to be involved again this year and meet with some of the students benefitting directly from the program. Our success as a company wouldn’t be possible without the community behind us, and we’re happy to be able to give back.”
The delivery this year was made with the all-new 60th Anniversary 170 Montauk.
