GLB: What Great Lakes have you boated on?
S: My family and I boat on Lake Michigan.
GLB: What kind of boat do you have?
S: Currently, we have a 3870 Cruisers Yachts.
GLB: What kind of impact has boating had on your life?
S: Boating is a huge part of my life and has been since I was a young kid. My family and I are on the water as much as possible. My son has been boating since he was three weeks old and I hope he develops a passion for boating just like his father! My dream has always been to take this passion and make it into a career. I could not be more thankful for that to be true as I am a proud yacht broker for Weber Yachts.
GLB: What made you decide to start boating?
S: I started boating as a young kid with my parents. Since then, I always knew when I grew up I would own a boat of my own on Lake Michigan. My passion for boating only grew as the years went by. I cannot imagine boating not being a part of my life.
GLB: What is one of your favorite boating memories?
S: One of my favorite memories of boating is when my wife and I took our first boating trip to Saugatuck, Mich. I’ll never forget that first time cruising the channel. Since then, Saugatuck is one of our favorite boating destinations and we take an annual Fourth of July trip. My wife and I even took our honeymoon there.
GLB: What do you think is something important our readers should know that you've learned through your own experiences?
S: Something that I think is important is that boating is an amazing lifestyle. I encourage everyone out there who doesn't own a boat but has always thought about owning one to go ahead and pursue their dreams. It always brings my family together and has brought me and my family memories we will cherish forever.
