2. Soaking up the Sun - With the aid of sunscreen, our bodies are able to absorb a healthy amount of Vitamin D while we are out on the water. Many Americans today have a Vitamin D deficiency which can do some serious health damage. By being exposed to sunlight for at least fifteen minutes we can decrease the deficiency and boost our immune system and overall health. Just make sure to apply some sunscreen so harmful sun rays don’t burn you!
