Traditional round deck plates are widely used for sealing maintenance ports on boats while retaining easy access to equipment concealed beneath. But conventional units can also seal so effectively that they restrict ventilation. Vent Top Deck Plates from Beckson are an ideal alternative. They protect sensitive equipment while maintaining air flow, eliminating heat build-up in enclosed spaces and reducing opportunities for mildew growth.
Designed to replace standard units that use a 6-1/2" hole cut and 6-3/16" interior passage, Beckson offers Vent Top Deck Plates in both pry-out and screw-out models that easily retrofit to existing openings. Each is made from durable, UV-resistant ASA plastic. The low-rise DP-LP series incorporates a 1-3/4" H full-width opening for generous ventilation with minimal surface extension. For applications requiring maximum air flow, Beckson offers the high-profile DP-HP series with a 3" vent height.
All Beckson Vent Top Deck Plates are provided in a neutral white finish. In inclement weather the vent can be removed and replaced with a standard smooth lid in a choice of white or clear for a watertight seal.
