New JBL Speakers Deliver Power, Finesse and Attractive Price

November 2021 News

ProSpec Electronics' new 6-1/2" JBL Marine Stage two-way stereo speakers deliver the sheer power to be heard over a full-throttle roar and the finesse needed to hear subtle highs and lows while at anchor. Ideal for a wide range of onboard applications, the fully marinized speakers have a highly attractive price point.

IPX5-rated, 6-1/2" JBL Marine Stage speakers are fully marinized. Grille-mounted 1/2" tweeters prevent water intrusion past the woofer cone.  Sealed motor structures and UV-resistant, one-piece, cast-polymer baskets withstand sun, salt, spray and heavy wash downs.

JBL Marine Stage speakers from ProSpec Electronics are individually voiced to ensure they conform to the high-quality sound signature JBL is renowned for. Plus, they're fully tested by freezing, baking, spraying, shaking and running them at full power for days on end to guarantee years of trouble-free audio performance.

The speakers have 60W RMS, 180W peak power and 4-ohm impedance for accurate audio reproduction. Sensitivity at 2.83V is 90dB with a frequency response of 60Hz–20kHz. The result is smooth, high-frequency responses and increased power handling for highs and mids, enabling lifelike sound from vocals, cymbals, brass instruments and pianos.

Simple to install, 6-1/2" JBL Marine Stage speakers come pre-wired with a pigtail harness, foam gasket, stainless steel hardware and even a drill bit. The 7-1/16" grilles require a 5-1/4" cutout, five screw holes and only 2-3/4" of mounting clearance.

Available in white (JBLMARSPKST6WHTAM) or grey (JBLMARSPKST6GRYAM), 6-1/2" JBL Marine Stage two-way stereo speakers from ProSpec Electronics have an MSRP of $189.95/pair. OEM quantity pricing is available. They are part of a larger family of JBL Marine Stage products that includes an 8" two-way speaker with a 1" tweeter, and a 10" subwoofer.
