Prospec Debuts Infinity Wake Series of Stereos

June 2021 News

The Infinity by Harman WAKE Series of source units is all about a new design for the brand, without any sacrifice to audio quality. Available from Prospec Electronics, the INF-R3000 is the opener of the new WAKE Series. Additional upgrade levels will be launched soon after.

Infinity by Harman's INF-R3000 offers a wide range of listening options. It provides AM, FM and weather band reception, as well as USB and aux inputs. Integrated BT5.0 (Bluetooth®) technology provides greater benefits compared to the prior generation BT versions.

The INF-R3000 is built to brush-off the worst that nature throws at it, whether intense sun, harmful UV rays, abrasive salt or extreme thunderstorms. Its faceplate is impressively IPX6-rated and the rear, IPX3.

A 4" monochromatic LCD display on the Infinity by Harman INF-R3000 is easy to see in harsh sunlight. Its rotary encoder and power button are all backlit for dark conditions. Controls are intuitive and easy to use.

The INF-R3000 source unit delivers massive 4x55W peak power at 4 ohms. And with 2-ohm stability, it will drive additional speakers without

the need for an extra amplifier. If desired, the stereo contains one set of pre-outs for further amplifier expandability.

Compact, the Infinity by Harman INF-R3000 faceplate is only 6.4" W x 2.9" H and requires 4.25" of mounting depth. Available from Prospec Electronics, it costs $269.95. A range of accessories are available such as a silicone cover (part MPRO-Y1000/WPC), aux and USB combination adapter, amplified powered antenna and amplifiers.
