Intrepid’s 407 Panacea

The center console that does it all

January 2020 Feature Web Exclusive

Why settle for something mass-produced when you can build a custom boat that’s unlike any other? That’s the philosophy behind Intrepid Powerboats, a major player in the luxury boating market. But if you’re having trouble deciding on a model to customize, the all-in-one 407 Panacea is a great place to start.

Perfect for fishing, diving, overnights, or just cruising with family, the Panacea 407 lives up to its name as a cure for whatever ails you. This highly versatile vessel was driven by customer demand for something slightly smaller than Intrepid’s 475 Panacea but still packed with all of the same luxury features.

While the 407 Panacea is more compact than the 475 before it, it is by no means cramped - the center console comfortably seats nine people, making it great for entertaining.

One of the most impressive things about this model is the efficient use of space. Both port and starboard lounge seats raise up to reveal roomy storage compartments, and there are deep rod lockers on either side of the boat. Below deck, 72 sq ft of cabin space fits even more storage, a queen-sized berth, settee area, and a separate head.

Intrepid’s unique stepped, vented hull guarantees a smoother, more fuel-efficient ride, but your boat’s power and speed depends on how you choose to customize it. Twin, triple, and even quad engine configurations are possible on the 407 Panacea - simply name the brand, and Intrepid will make it happen.
