U.S. Coast Guard's New Rescue Tool

If you run into trouble while boating on Lake Michigan, help may now arrive much sooner. The U.S. Coast Guard has a new system called "Rescue 21." The enhanced technology will help with search and rescue missions. They explained how it works during a presentation Thursday night at the Door County Maritime Museum.
