Expert: Lake Erie better but still at risk
Almost 45 years after the Cuyahoga River famously caught fire and prompted widespread changes in how our water supplies are protected, fertilizers, pesticides and climate change still threaten Lake Erie’s health, a top state scientist who monitors the lake’s water quality said yesterday.
