Ice forming

For the second time in two weeks, lake-effect snow bands and frigid temperatures have created ice-fishing conditions at Presque Isle State Park.

During the past few days, small numbers of anglers have set up huts at the park's Misery Bay and Horseshoe Pond, where ice depth has ranged from 3 inches to 41/2 inches, which is barely safe enough.
