Council OKs money for dredging
The Sheboygan Common Council approved spending $100,000 Monday night to help cover its cost to design a dredging project to make the Sheboygan River more navigable. The council voted, 15-0, to take the money from the city's boat facilities fund, made up of boat user fees and not general fund tax dollars, to put toward the $400,000 local match needed to help cover the $1.2 million cost of the design.
