Magellan's sinking in 1877 raised many questions

Almost 100 years to the date before the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald ship, another powerful northeastern gale brought Great Lakes ships to anchor, caused others to beach, and precipitated the untimely destruction of the schooner Magellan off the shores of Two Rivers, with all souls lost. Its mysterious end would be remembered for years after.
