Three area conservation groups receive grant money from Healing Our Waters-Great Lakes Coalition

 

BAY CITY, MI — Three area conservation groups are ready to get to work after receiving grants to improve waterways around the Saginaw Bay. The Healing Our Waters-Great Lakes Coalition in Ann Arbor has awarded $189,564 in grants to 12 organizations, including the Bay City-based Partnership for Saginaw Bay Watershed, the Virginia-based Conservation Fund, which has an office in Bay City, and Grayling-based Huron Pines, a nonprofit conservation group that serves 11 counties in Northeast Michigan.
