Officials discuss status of continued efforts for ferry from Lake County to Canada
A January decision by Bayham, Ontario, officials appeared to leave the idea for a Lake County-to-Canada ferry dead in the water. However, some local officials continue to do more than hope that it will still float. Kent Kristensen, chairman of Ontario-based Seaport Management Corp. and owner of Short Sea Lines, continues to pursue a willing port on Lake Erie's north shore.
