Nick Ward looks at quality, not quantity for this weekend's Great Lakes IRC Championship. The two-day sailing regatta on a closed course in lower Lake Huron gets under way Saturday morning with 15 boats in three divisions. "Most of these boats have been racing all summer and some even all year," said Ward, the race director and co-owner of Rum. "You can't have a popular event and a prestigious event.
