The US Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District, has awarded a US$281,500 contract to Luedtke Engineering Company of Frankfort, Michigan, to dredge Au Sable Harbour near Oscoda, Michigan. Beginning in June, Luedtke will dredge 33,500 cubic yards of shoals and place the dredged materials on the shoreline for nourishment. The shallow draft harbour was last dredged in September 2008. |
