Dan Prokupets hung on to the fishing rod, followed the expert advice of his charter captain, and enjoyed the show. "It jumped three times," said the 35-year-old Mendon resident who was fishing with Capt. Jeff Goater of Big Hit Charters during the recent Red Cross Casting for Caring Derby on Lake Ontario. "I just listened to my very smart captain, kept tension on the rod and let the fish do its thing. I didn't know what it was until Jeff told me." |
