Nearly 30 Ohio applicants have been awarded more than $17 million in federal grants as part of President Obama's Great Lake Restoration Initiative. The grants range from an award of $1.5 million to the Ohio EPA for continuing restoration of the Ashtabula River to about $88,000 to the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District for testing a new rapid-result method for determining water quality at Lake Erie Beaches. |
