Life jackets vital for boating safety

Like a lot of people, Roy Zellmer is preparing to ply Wisconsin waters over Memorial Day weekend. A couple of things set him apart from the crowd: He'll be wearing a Personal Flotation Device. And he'll be looking to see if you're wearing yours. "In my world, it's the single most important thing," said Zellmer, boating law administrator for the Department of Natural Resources. "If you don't have it on, it can't help you."
