Something's brewing among area lawyers that could resonate with East Toledo and Oregon almost as much as, well, a return visit to Papa's Tavern by Crystal Bowersox. Plans are under way for a multimillion dollar excavation of Duck and Otter creeks, two more Toledo-area streams that were once treated like industrial sewers. Both flow into western Lake Erie's Maumee Bay - as does the Ottawa River, now the site of a historic $49 million restoration project. |
