Researcher: St. Clair Shores canals still polluted

A Wayne State University researcher says new tests conducted this year show dangerous levels of PCB contamination remain in St. Clair Shores canals that connect to Lake St. Clair. Geologist Ed van Hees presented his findings Tuesday at a meeting in Macomb County. Though contaminants haven’t been found in fish, he says the public should be warned not to eat fish caught there.
