Shallow Kal: Locals say EPA’s designation is sinking Lake Kalamazoo improvements

The seagulls have made the tugboat in the middle of Kalamazoo Lake their home for several years. The tug got stuck in the muck on its way to a nautical museum and is now a symbol of the silting problem in the recreational lake that Saugatuck and Douglas residents say is reaching a critical tipping point.
