It may not have Parliament buildings in the background, but Cornwall's old canal would still make a great ice skating venue, one city councillor believes. Coun. Glen Grant said he'd like to see the old canal become an attraction for Cornwall, and one option would be to steal a page from Ottawa's Rideau Canal and transform it into a skateway during the winter months. |
