Detroit overflows need fixing

In the summer of 2009, waters in western Lake Erie looked more like a golf course rather than waters to fish and swim in. Part of the problem stems from the billions of gallons of raw and partially treated sewage from Detroit's wastewater overflows.

Windsor has played a role but is investing millions to fix the problem, thank you. Higher water levels in the past helped lower nutrient levels.
