After a record-breaking 2013-2014, ice conditions in the Lake Huron and the rest of the Great Lakes are forecast to return to normal this winter.
Earlier this week, ice forecasters in Canada and the U.S. issued their seasonal outlook for winter 2014-2015 on the Great Lakes.
"Last year was a record for ice coverage," said Scott Weese, senior ice forecaster with the Canadian Ice Service.
