TideMinders from Dr. Shrink is an inexpensive and efficient way to control dock/mooring lines.

This system employs nine virtually indestructible balls. Threaded onto the line and secured with figure-eight knots, the balls roll up and down with the flow as the water changes levels, removing the need to adjust mooring lines. TideMinders protects line up to 1-inch thick.

The string of balls offers constant tension with built-in shock absorption. During storms and tidal changes, TideMinders shields the line against fouling and chafing as they roll up and down any size or shape piling.

Installation is extremely easy and requires no tools. One TideMinders kit contains nine balls constructed from high-density polyethylene. Individual balls are available for larger pilings. The system is available in black or white.
