Canada's environmental minister will delay making a final decision on a controversial plan to bury nuclear waste within a mile of Lake Huron until March 1.
Friday's announcement, posted on the website of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency, will give the government under Prime Minister Justin Trudeau more time to weigh the issue.
