One week ago, on June 1, the historic journey of Canada C3 began in Lake Ontario. To celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation, Canadian Heritage is supporting a series of Signature Projects — high impact projects with national reach — through the Canada 150 Fund, and Canada C3 is proud to have been chosen as one of these Canada 150 Fund Signature Projects.
The expedition will travel around Canada's three coastlines beginning in the Great Lakes, navigating the northwest passage, and ending in Vancouver. Canada has the longest coastline in the world, and the expedition will highlight historical, cultural, and scientific wonders of Canada's land and waterscapes.
