Mid-America Boat Show Returns To Cleveland
A new Boating Experience Pavilion, more boats, entertainment and educational clinics will highlight Ohio’s largest boating exposition when the 2017 Progressive Mid-America
Boat Show comes to Cleveland’s I-X Center from Jan. 12-16.
Organizers said the new Experience Pavilion is a family-oriented theme area combining seminars and demonstrations, a variety of hands-on activities, simulators, interactive games and the Capt. Willie Pirate Show.
More than 450 powerboats and sailboats as large as 45 feet are scheduled for display, along with the Go Dive Now scuba pool; an expanded Angler’s Alley fishing stage; seminars on subjects ranging from cruising to cooking; and an interactive Water Rollerz Pool for children.
The show, which includes Martin Luther King Day, has also designated Monday as Ohio Sea Grant Day and donates a portion of the admissions to the Stone Lab Marine Educational Center at Put-In-Bay in the Lake Erie islands.
The event is produced by the Cleveland-based Lake Erie Marine Trades Association. Full show details are at www.clevelandboatshow.com.
